Bottle at Patrik Birthday Chriso tasting. Thanks to Caspar. Dark brown beer. Its a bit dull maybe. Some brown malts. Dull Oakes (19711) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 17, 2001
Actually a brown and golden, made from porter and lager. But more to the point, it is really light and the lager taste kind of overwhelms the porter taste, which is actually quite scary. I only managed to finish half of that big jug before moving on to better things. jtclockwork (17914) - , New Jersey, USA - AUG 12, 2013
Bottle/jug thing. Pours muddy brown. Nose and taste of roast black malt, cocoa, light pine, dough and toast. Lighter medium body. Benzai (17005) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - NOV 23, 2013
Bottle @ ZZT 8 shared by Dutchdrebus. Clear red-brown color, small off - white head. Not a lot of aroma other than malts. Taste malts, a touch of raisins, slightly bitter. Average to medium body and carbonation.

Black pour with a khaki head. The nose is pretty bland and watery. Some roasted malt notes, slight sourness, grain sweetness, and maybe a hint of coffee. The flavor is like sour, watered down coffee. Roasted malt, grainy sweetness, and maybe a slightly metallic finish. Borup (16296) - Albertslund, DENMARK - DEC 22, 2013
Bottle. Clear copper colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of caramel, malt, dried fruit, coffee and hops. bhensonb (16250) - Woodland, California, USA - SEP 20, 2007
qt. bottle. Odd aroma, but it has some chocolate, and arguably roasted malt and grassy hop. Nice dark amber color with a beige head that stayed awhile. A bit thin bodied, and the carbonation is not strong, but has a bit of a bite. The flavor is malty, probably a bit nutty, and there seems to be a very low sour note. The finish is not quite dry, and there is roasted malt, but not a great deal of bitter, if any. Still think there’s a sour note, but maybe it’s hop. The finish isn’t really complicated, just hard for me to pin down bitter with the malt/sour? thing. Finally it all seems to end with a bit of nut. Better than many things. 1 quart screw top bottle poured a clear brown with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of roasted malt and hints of cocoa and straw. Palate was light bodied crisp and watery. Flavors of light roastiness, straw and a hint of cocoa with a crisp watery finish. DSG (15589) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JAN 6, 2013
Bottle sample at a tasting at LiBira Pub in Haifa. Thanks eyes_wide_shut and YK23. Clear reddish brown with a beige head. Aroma has some chocolate, slightly roasty, light vegetal hints and a fruity note. Sweetish flavor with some chocolate, light graininess and a bit of grassy hints. Light to medium-bodied. So-so,
