This is a damn good beer. The jug bottle with the wildlife is enough to wanna buy it. Great all around beer. To bad it ain’t brewed in the South. twocycle99 (61) - Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA - MAR 26, 2002
Good flavor, strong hops aftertaste Andrew196 (1858) - Katy, Texas, USA - AUG 14, 2002
This is a pretty solid lager. Clean crisp taste, notes of hops throughout. It was good, but it didnt really grab me (not many lagers have though). A top choice on a hot day. Cool bottle too. kurtkosher (144) - USA - APR 30, 2008

Pretty fair ’Lager’. Malt nose, dark amber color, decent head and some lace. Clean and fresh, with some hop presence, and a somewhat dry finish. Quite a nice bottle as all the ladies at work wanted an ’MT’ for display. Their Black and Tan is a pretty fair brew also. Both beers fall in the ’Drinkable’ category, good not great.

Not a bad lager, good balance of malt and hops, slightly sweet. Like the black and tan better though. prpplague (247) - Euless, Texas, USA - OCT 12, 2001
nice flavor, with a nice hoppy after taste JoeyT (8) - New York, USA - JUN 23, 2003 does not count
Dark amber, almost brown, not clear, translucent, kind of muddy. Good full flavor, no aftertaste, slight sweetness, not bad. austinpowers (2828) - New York, New York, USA - MAY 14, 2002
Strangely, the ’Mississippi Brewing Company’ is located in Utica, NY. Hoppy taste, rather sweet. Alcohol flava sort of bums me out. Not like other lagers. Much maltier. Mega-malty nose. GreatDane (101) - Skævinge, DENMARK - JAN 20, 2004
At my first visit to US this was my first beer. And what a pleasant surprise...
