Based on a German Kristallweizen style beer, but in a nod to its origins, Moa Blanc is brewed using renowned Sauvignon Blanc wine yeast. A blend of 50% wheat malt and 50% barley malt results in an elegantly smooth beer with hints of spice and uplifting esters.

Tasting Notes
Moa Blanc has a fruity aroma and taste. Banana, vanilla, citrus and bubble gum fruit flavours dominate, with some phenolic characters present. Moa Blanc is a highly drinkable wheat beer, with flavours more moderate than other wheat beers. Hop aroma and bitterness are minimal. Moa Blanc is best served at approximately 4˚C in a pilsner glass.

Appearance: thick pale white head, cloudy golden in color Aroma: cherry, I'm picking up some warm bud light smell to it every now and then that I'm having trouble putting a name on, faint smelling, alcohol Taste: cherry, hint of bitterness Palate: leaves a lingering slightly bitter aftertaste Overall: pretty disappointed with this, doesn't really taste like I thought it would, some sort of bad flavor lingering in there, that weird taste kind of went away as it got up to about 45° ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Amarela alaranjada, ligeiramente turva. Espuma rala de curta duração. Aroma de baunilha e banana. Sabor amargo equilibrado de banana e tutti-fruti, com um toque cítrico. Retrogosto ácido e amargo, com final cítrico e levemente metálico.

Bottle from Barmy Wines. Light, bold golden body with big head. Nose is hoppy, floral, grapefruit, bananas. Taste is also bananas, wheat, fruits, citrus some hops. Creamy texture. Pretty good.

From bottle in tulip glass. Pours clear, pale yellow with modest head. Aroma of fruit bread and the taste is in that direction with low bitterness. OK.

Old rating. Weird bubbly wheat. Some fruity notes (but not usually wit fruits, more like grape and apple), fairly acidic, lots of carbonation. Didn’t quite work for me.

Butelka pite w Nowej Zelandii w 2009r. Kolor jasnobrązowy , piana solidna. Aromat owocowy, nagazowane wysoko, trochę gorzkie ale w sumie dobre.

330 ml bottle sampled April 2014. Clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma like something between a bad industrial lager and moisten rubber gloves. Flavor is light pale malty, quite metallic and low bitterness. Medium to thin body. Practically undrinkable.

Bottle from Party Source from notes. Pours a slightly hazy yellow golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have pale wheat malts, yeast, mild citrus peel, light banana, mild spice, rather boring actually.

750ml bottle into pint glass. Champagne bottle with cork! Slight wheat aroma. Cloudy yellow with active but dissipating head. Spritzy mouthfeel leading to burnt malt finish with a little grape. It’s nice but for a wheat beer, so few fruit notes? Highly carbonated, maybe a champagne/beer hybrid?

bottle @ Party Source / Bellevue KY --- Clear light amber with a solid white head cover, splashes of lace. Good aroma of malt and floral hops. Taste is malt and wheat that adds just a touch of vanilla before crisply moving to floral hops on the swallow, with all parts then moving smoothly through a medium finish. Not strong or assertive, but clean, balanced, and easy to drink.

Good beer for summer night. Refreshing orange and banana aroma through to the palate with a bit of sweet potato. No particular note disturbingly dominates and a slight fruitiness lingers on the palate. Loving this as a starter beer.
