An odd looking sort of dubbel in that it wasn’t russet and hazy, but rosy brown with port notes and clear. A skim of whitish head, but was poured too cold to smell the full array of aromas. Flavours firstly (and oddly) of bananas as if it was chocolate banana sponge or a wheat beer. How decidedly odd. A tasty brew nonetheless, but out of style with very few overlapping characters.
