Amber pour with good head.
Aroma of woody pine and malt.
Medium bitterness, biscuit malt and hoppy tang to finish.

On tap at Moa. Lots of pine, spruce, biscuit, orange. Controlled bitterness with some sweetness too. Not particularly exciting, but very drinkable. Bule (2310) - California, USA - FEB 20, 2017
500ml bottle pours a yellow amber color with a bit of head. Piney hop profile that lingers.

Bottle. Heavy aroma of pine. I have never had such piney beer. Taste is heavy bitter. Balanced. Very good.

500ml bottle from notes a year ago. Perfect name! Pine leaps from the glass from the first waft to the last mouthful. Simply wonderful beer4eternity (226) - Tauranga, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 24, 2016
The ultimate Christmas Day beer for me. This does what it says it will do and more. Pours a hazy deep gold amber hue with a generous but quickly and completely diminishing foamy off white head and no lacing. Big bold evocative pine aromas as promised, complimented with delicious marmalade - orange, lemon, yellow grapefruit, and a light spice, ginger, and cheese background. Taste is moderate strong sweet though not cloying, moderate bitter. Very softly carbonated, moderate thickness, slightly syrupy very sticky, with a long dry spicy peppery resinous finish. I thoroughly enjoyed this. Pdubyah (835) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 15, 2016
NOthing wrong with this, the aroma is the one thing that lets it down a bit, I though it was bready and yeasty, but when you get past that into the pine and peppery spice it’s quite nice. Finish is long and dry. Colour is brilliance! hawthorne00 (4193) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - FEB 24, 2016
Bottle. Light amber with a large white head that lasts OK. Yes, pine, but also grapefruit, boiled oranges, butterscotch, herbal lemon and spices. I guess I’m drinking it about 10C and either that’s too warm or this is sickly sweet and maybe a bit slick. The citrus and some light tropical notes come through but it’s distracting. Off dry finish with medium high bitterness. Just OK - probably caught it too late. canadiankiwi (149) - NEW ZEALAND - DEC 25, 2015
A very pleasant surprise. Lots of hops and plenty of pine taste on the palate. Very interesting palate. Poured from bottle and pours hazy Amber.
