330ml bottle. Considerable sediment, so clarity will depend on how you store and pour this orange ale with a stiff, pale orange, persistent head. Medium body with vigorous carbonation. Nose is dampened by pillow of head, but towards the end of the glass I get some pine hops. Pine, singed caramel, honey, tea and subtle oakiness towards the finish. Short, balanced finish. Smooth and tasty, but room for improvement. bozoNZ (778) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - JUL 31, 2010
375 ml cork and wire bottle Rich apricot bronze with a persistant rich head. Fairly muted nose, sweet fruity with a toucy of light perfume. Palate borders on the sweeter side. Fruitcake, a touch of the barrel shows thru but it’s lots the hop complexity, flavour and overall appealf it’s unaged brother.
