Pours a copper amber color in the glass. Gorgeous tropical fruit hops aroma. More clean citrus and tropical fruit flavors balanced with a nice toasted malt note. Overall, this is a nice brew.. odinstyr (794) - Hamilton, New Jersey, USA - MAY 7, 2014

Draft at Binny’s South Loop. Golden amber color. Slightly sticky head. I’m unable to drink such a sweet, caramelized sugars, and abrasive hop bitterness. Messy fruit syrupiness. Don’t enjoy the hops with the mess of sweetness and strong alcohol. Foxbush (2003) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - APR 18, 2014
Draft at Burger Bach in the Village This may be my first new Zealand beer. The ale poured a cloudy amber with a nice white head formation. The white head turned to lacing down the glass. There was a warm bitterness that at first was citrus like or floral hops. The finish was more pine resin like. A complex balanced beverage with an excellent ABV. The medium body ale had average carbonation. This is very drinkable Imperial IPA. crossovert (12614) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 15, 2014

Amber wth a slight haze. No head to speak of. Rich chewy crystal malts on the nose. Slight melon/citrus, but chewy. Kiwi hops are not good for this type of beer. onceblind (9397) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 20, 2014
Slightly hazy dark golden with a thin white cap. The aroma has this hoppy passion fruit tone that’s a bit juicy but also a bit piney. Taste is similar but heavier on the pine resin with some grapefruit and passion fruit tones followed by a piney resin bitterness I wasn’t too fond of, and a dry leafy finish with a slightly acidic grapefruit flavor on the aftertaste. krumbum (1109) - truckee, California, USA - MAR 7, 2014

On tap. Pours a medium gold color with a white head. The aroma has lots of tropical fruit as well as resin and some citrus. The flavor is bright, fruity hops up front with a malt backbone and a slightly syrupy, bitter finish over a medium-heavy body.
