COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Moa The Hoppit displays lots of New Zealand hop characters, passionfruit, pine (herbaceous), grapefruit and fresh, sweet tropical hop aromas. A golden, orange hue with a great hop haze. Rich malt tones, almost toasted with a lingering marmaladey bitterness that displays a sharp but smooth, sweet finish. Dry hopped seven times over two weeks, this beer is massive on the senses.

Amber wth a slight haze. No head to speak of. Rich chewy crystal malts on the nose. Slight melon/citrus, but chewy. Kiwi hops are not good for this type of beer.

mcberko (17205) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 10, 2013
On tap at Apex, pours an opaque orange with a small white head. Aroma of doughy notes, some slightly orange-like fruity notes, and moderate floral hops. Flavour brings out loads of oranges, doughy malts and floral hops. Not very hoppy, but very fruity and light on the palate. Highly drinkable, and not suggestive of a higher alcohol beer. Great stuff.

Drake (13651) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 22, 2014
Draft at Beer Run, 7/10/14. Pours a clear golden color with a thin creamy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of tropical hops, lemongrass, lime zest, caramel malt. The taste is candied citrus, tropical fruit, lime zest, caramel. Medium bodied, low carbonation, mild lingering bitterness.

onceblind (9427) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 20, 2014
Slightly hazy dark golden with a thin white cap. The aroma has this hoppy passion fruit tone that’s a bit juicy but also a bit piney. Taste is similar but heavier on the pine resin with some grapefruit and passion fruit tones followed by a piney resin bitterness I wasn’t too fond of, and a dry leafy finish with a slightly acidic grapefruit flavor on the aftertaste.

3fourths (9331) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - FEB 1, 2014
UPDATED: FEB 25, 2014 Draft at Porter Beer Bar in Atlanta. Hazed ruby tones. Burnt apples, burnt maraschino cherries, burnt peaches, nutty and bready. Fruit cocktail mishmash. Medium-full body with abusive sweetness, dear lord. Highly bitter, lots of caramelized sugar, goopy sugar syrup texture.

after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - NOV 30, 2013
Draft at apex. Pours a murky dark amber with a dense and creamy off white head. Lots of sheeting lace. Musty, damp bread dough nose. Creamy medium body with wooly carb. Nitrogen and damp bread dough on the mid palate. Earthy laundry finish.

PhillyCraft (7110) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 16, 2013
Tap at Devil’s Den. Red copper pour with nice lacing streaks. Notes were a little boozey, sweet, not a whole lot of citrus. More of a hoppy barelywine with all the sweet notes. Not a fan.
