3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
One finger of head on a hazy, medium straw colored body.
The aroma is bright with lemon and grapefruit with some dry grain.
The taste is disjointed at the beginning then moves to lemon bitterness, alcohol heat and grain.
The texture is crisp with a little fizz.
An enjoyable ale.

500ml bottle. Pours a deep hazy gold with white head. Sweet Caramel nose with hints of sugar. Medium body with strong sweetness and a mild alcohol taste. JPDIPSO (6286) - Wauwatosa, USA - MAY 29, 2017
Heavy looking golden liquid. Moderate, stable white head. Sweet aromas, Caramel, esters, Honey, crusty bread. Heavy Sweetness in front and actually carrying a long way through. Alcohol presence, not hot, but more in a light flicker on the back of the tongue. and back of the throat. Just too industrial, no finesse found. If I drink much more the score will really start to plummet. 8/13

Tried in a bottle from Crafty Bottle, Lincoln. rich deep golden colour with a thin white head. Malty caramel fruity and yeast aroma. Taste starts light sweet to mid bittersweet finish. Rich full and complex body. Nice User369532 (909) - - JAN 19, 2017
Drank directly from bottle. Great tripel, in my eyes much better then most of the Belgian ones. Commercial description is not lying regarding aroma. Taste is heavy sweet. Great one. MoaZealand (17) - Ohoka, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 30, 2016
A very surprising beer. I tried this once at a Moa tasting and wasn’t particularly impressed, but I bought it again anyway and I’m glad I did. The second time around I really got the full flavour and aroma of the beer and I have to say it was much more pleasing not having had other beers before hand. Bottle from Alko Arkadia, Helsinki. Pours hazy straw yellow with a medium-sized white head. The aroma features citrusy fruitiness with some apple and pear, yeasty spiciness and pale maltiness; a Belgian outlook definitely. Taste is medium sweet and lightly sour, comprising mostly from malts and yeast; hop bitterness is low but some hoppy flavours appear. Flavours of orange, lemon, pear, grain and herbs. Malty, spicy and fruity - quite rich taste all in all but perhaps more bitterness and crispness would have added depth and some edge to the taste. The palate is medium to full bodied, smooth and low in carbonation. A good tripel from New Zealand. Beerhammaren (1810) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - SEP 12, 2016
