A little worried when I purchased this because the price was slashed and the bottle cap didn’t look like it was on tight, but...hooray! This beer is not spoiled but in fact quite tasty. Much better than the 4% fare at the brewery, this has some nice hops with a body that isn’t too thick or light. Well done beer. stevoj (5270) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 15, 2015
Bottle from Albertsons. First impressions can go a long way, and this one left a lasting mark. Black creamy pour, silky beige head, robust roast grain aroma and some instant alcohol warmth. Nothing subtle about it, a big in your face stout. Lasting bitterness sticks around for a while, overall presentation is stellar. sirpags (1) - Queen Creek, Arizona, USA - AUG 20, 2015 does not count
I must have gotten a spoiled bottle. The aroma was almost non-existent. Appearance was of a dark porter. Taste is what threw me off. It had a sour chemical taste, like the vat had been cleaned with a chemical tab and never rinsed before the batch was brewed. I can’t believe this left the brewery. I really wanted to like this beer, but after reading the other reviews, I can only surmise that their quality control is very poor. Moab Brewery is off my list. This beer cost me $9.49 that I might as well have flushed. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 20, 2015
Bomber. Poured deep brown with a creamy tan head. The aroma picked up sweet, roasted cocoa and other black malts with accents of vanilla and molasses.. came across super sweet. The flavor found sweet coffee and milk chocolatey notes at the core mixed with vanilla creamer.. had a bit of a latte character to it.. the candy-like finish picked up a bit of tartness. Medium-bodied with an ok feel and flow through the palate.. too sweet and hard to drink a lot of. BuckeyeBoy (7894) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 16, 2014
22oz bottle pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is sweet malts chocolate coffee and some hop notes. Taste is nice with a good malt balance sweet rich and a little tart. A good little hop touch on the end.

A very nice compendium of hops, malt, coffee, chocolate and alcohol. If I had one criticism, it would be that the finish was a little too sharp, but that could just be me at this particular tasting. Will definitely try this again. NachlamSie (3504) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 30, 2014
Bomber from that liquor store in Fort Collins. Pours pretty near black with a tall tan head. At first the nose seems hot, but evens out nicely after a minute. I think some of that sharpness is the assertive hoppiness too. We got soy sauce, brownies, pine and cacao in the aroma. Good full body carries a balance of bittersweet and roasty malts with citrusy and piney hops peeking out. Very enjoyable. cstuartj (1020) - Washington, USA - APR 18, 2014

500 ml bottle from Lee’s Discount Liquors - East Flamingo Las Vegas. Nose is chocolate, black bread, molasses, and hints of coffee. Black with a small, lightly lacing tan head. Flavor is peppery, light bitter and sweet, with some chocolate. Very good stuff. WillRunForBeer (2674) - Massachusetts, USA - DEC 14, 2013
Bottle. Pours black with a lacy beige head. Scent is roasted malt, cinnamon, and chocolate. Flavor follows nose, smoky finish.
