COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our steamer beer is a unique 100% style lager. Brewed with a special strain of lager yeast that works better at warmer temperatures. This method dates back to the late 1800s, when refrigeration was a greater luxury. Amber in color, medium bodied with a malty character. Mildly fruity with an assertive hop bitterness and a crisp clean finish

Sample on tap at the brewery. Pours a clear, ruby brown color, with a small, bubbly, grey head. Smooth caramel and brown sugar aromas, with lots of bread dough, and a bit of resin. Sweet and yeasty, with a light bitterness. Light body, creamy, and chewy. This is a pretty solid, yeasty, and malty beer.

On tap at the brewery. Clear golden appearance with a white head. Aroma of grains, light hops and a touch of fruitiness. Similar flavor, adding light malt sweetness and light hop bitterness. Light and crisp on the palate. A little boring overall.

On tap at Gordon Biersch SLC Airport, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma and flavour brings out bready malts, toasted caramel and light bitterness. Decent enough but very weak and watery.

A clean and malty California Common that I bought in Youngstown, Ohio. My mother’s hometown, a place I’ve visited a million times. This is my 2k review, so let’s make it snappy and move on to the next 1k, hopefully more diligent this time!
