Local beer for me and a very good one. A really malty, chewy beer that has a nice smooth flavor. Not sure how far its availability goes, but get one if you can find it. GregMooreNH (574) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - JAN 28, 2018
Pours clear dark amber with full head. Aroma is brown sugar and dried fruit. Taste is caramel, plum, warming to a light roast. Finish is very smooth. An enjoyable, drinkable brown ale. jflopsu (1862) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - OCT 23, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 23, 2017 Pours brown-red with white head. A caramel malt aroma. A sweet malt taste with brown sugar and some chocolate. A lingering sweet caramel malt and chocolate afteraste. Kleg (522) - The Beach, Florida, USA - OCT 11, 2017
Draft at Moat Mountain Smoke House & Brewing Co in N Conway, NH. Clear dark amber color; Lighter color than most brown ales. No head or lacing. Thin mouthfeel for the style. Flavor is more like a rauchbier than a brown. Smoky, smooth and clean. Good. Maybe they gave me the wrong beer but I like it. DiarmaidBHK (6283) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 29, 2017
Draft at vignola. Pours brown with a white head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Solid caramel notes on the nose and tongue with a slight nutty note. Finished clean. Solid enough.

From tap. Pours hazy brown with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted malty. Light caramelish and breadish. Sweet, dark malty. Toasted malty. Caramelish sweet and slight fruity finish. tekstr1der (509) - New Hampshire, USA - MAR 18, 2017
Nearly clear brown or with a lasting beige skim. Aroma is malty, slightly nutty with faint hints of cooked sugar. Flavor is similar, surprised it’s not marketed as a nut brown. Lots of hazelnut, filbert. A little watery and finished a tad astringent, but quite enjoyable all around. DBreskin (16) - Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA - JAN 14, 2017
Nice creamy head and rich brown color. Smooth full taste. Great in a warm pub on a cold night.

Can from HB Provisions. Creamy nutty brown sugar aroma with faint, sherry-like adverbs. Hazy ruddy brown under a lasting off-white sheet. Flavour is much like aroma with nutty brown sugar along with mocha and hazelnuts. Moderate bitterness. Medium light body, medium carbonation, crisp.
