Sampler in North Conway. Pretty average brown ale overall. Normal aroma and flavours expected from a brown. Nothing spectacular but did not miss either.
Overall a nice beer. Had a smoky undertone to it. My wife and I were in agreement that this was our favorite in the sampler. And the smokehouse food was good too!. BennyTicklez (621) - USA - SEP 1, 2005
Pours average brown with almost no head. Sweet taste, thin body. Somewhat nutty, roasted malt. Watery.

UPDATED: DEC 26, 2005 On tap: Dark brown, grainy malts in the aroma, full bodied with lively carbonation, starts and ends lightly bitter, spicy ending. VTHopHead (1511) - Seymour, Tennessee, USA - JUL 22, 2004
Draft at VT Brewers Fest - This was perhaps the least impressive beer at the festival ... not sure why they brought it. Thiin boddy and too light for a brown. Some nuttiness and slightly bitter finish. Did not try for seconds.
