Sampler in North Conway. Pretty average brown ale overall. Normal aroma and flavours expected from a brown. Nothing spectacular but did not miss either.

Overall a nice beer. Had a smoky undertone to it. My wife and I were in agreement that this was our favorite in the sampler. And the smokehouse food was good too!.

Draft at VT Brewers Fest - This was perhaps the least impressive beer at the festival ... not sure why they brought it. Thiin boddy and too light for a brown. Some nuttiness and slightly bitter finish. Did not try for seconds.

Sample at the Vermont Brewers Fest. Medium clear maple, minimal cardboardy nose, little nuttiness. Clean, fairly dry body; some assertive metallic quality near the end which hurts. Not good.
