Light brown in color. On tap at Tuckerman’s in North Conway, NH. Nicely textured beer, light hops, strong fruit flavor. beerbuzzmontreal (3487) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 4, 2005
Pours a clear golden color with a ring of white lace. Aroma of biscuity malt and citrus. Good subtle flavor of biscuity and grainy malt with citrus. Light body with a dry mouthfeel and prickly carbonation. ross (2146) - weddington, North Carolina, USA - MAY 14, 2004
on tap at bellinis in conway NH. redish colored pour with a nice floral aroma. a bitter aftertaste that comes through as refreshing. i thought this was a pretty good beer. MartinT (9880) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 3, 2004
UPDATED: MAY 20, 2008 A glimmer of apricot, a shimmer of herbal hops in dimmer caramel cereal sweetness...All is balanced and drinkable, but quite forgettable for the style... Sammys (428) - Portland, Maine, USA - JAN 10, 2003
I’ll be the first to rate this one; had it on tap at the Great Lost Bear in Portland, ME. Medium gold colored lager with medium carbonation, mildly hoppy aroma. Taste was somewhat light with a sufficient dose of malt (crystal?) and a well balanced yet subtle hop bitterness, quick and non-descript finish. High ABV is a plus.
