Nice beer that comes across as what Budweiser wishes it were. Crisp light flavor with a clean finish. Nothing special but decent overall.
Draft at Moat Mountain Smoke House & Brewing Co in N Conway, NH. Clear pale yellow color with no head. Clean and smooth mouthfeel. Not as crisp or hoppy as I expected - and that's okay. Pretty good. 17Beer (403) - Connecticut, USA - AUG 25, 2017
From a tap at Walters. Pours gold and flat. Smells of bread and biscuits. No head. No pilsner bite. Bland lager. Disappointing. bytemesis (8970) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JUL 21, 2017
Tap. Pours clear golden orange, minimal white head, a bit of lacing. Aroma is light, floral and cracker malt, grains and grass. Light touch of citrus. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter. Medium body, soft carbonation. Middle of the road. tom10101 (6225) - Quebec, CANADA - JUL 10, 2017
On tap (16 oz) in a pizza restaurant in Gorham, NH. Clear pale golden with a medium white head, some retention, leaving little lacing. Aroma is grassy with bready malts and light honeyed notes. Taste is slightly sweet with grassy presence, bready malts and light herbal bitterness. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Fluffy-ish mouthfeel. Grassy and semi-dry finish. There’s nothing "off" and it goes down easily, it just doesn’t have the malt depth and crispiness of the best from the style. yespr (47039) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUN 30, 2017
From tap. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy and slight toasted malty. Bitter, mild sweet and toasted. Grassy finish.

pounder can as pictured. Fairly fresh tasting. Pretty civilized. Does have a pilsner bite but its mild and easy going, I like this. Reserved. Not bad. Better than expected. Tommynh (126) - - SEP 17, 2016
I guess it's an OK lager, light scent, nice golden color, light taste, no aftertaste. A good summer style ale but I guess I'm more an IPA guy

On tap @ Moat Mountain. Clear golden beer with a white head. Much like their Helles, this is a pretty innocuous pale lager. Not much in the way of hop character and just some sweet bready malts. Maybe a little bit less ester character and a touch of bitterness on the very back end. Okay beer. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 26, 2016
Poured a golden color with a white head. Aroma was of grassy hops and pale grain. Flavor was sweeter, graham cracker like, grassy. Ok. TAR (2779) - Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina, USA - JUN 24, 2016
Canned on May 6, 2016. Clear deep yellow. Short-lived white head. Attractively soft nose of pastry-rich malt, melanoidins (browned shortbread, almond, breadcrust), honeycomb, tealike and herbal Saaz. Loose, but firm, carbonation. Richly textured malt inundates the palate with honeyed toast and grassy aspects on initial sip. Honey-dabbed poundcakelike melanoidins tease the palate as hop-derived nectar notes complement the minute residual sugars. Clean attenuation sets the stage for the deftly incorporated Saaz, which flashes its understatedly bright flower petal softness and appetizing array of acids before taking on a zipper, more rustic tea- and pepper-like dimension. Chewy haylike notes and increasingly buoyant melanoidins enhance the slightest "grip" of breadcrust, testifying to the adeptly decocted malt. Snappy twinge of lager yeast quietly emerges. Ongoing whispers of nectary and tealike Saaz are capped with delicate honeyed maltiness in the wonderfully soft and balanced finish. Lingering flavors recall chewy hay and fresh honeycomb. Very easy to enjoy this. It’s a classy rendition that gives a nod to the Old World with its deep and succulent maltiness that wouldn’t be attainable without decoction-mashing. Delightful brew. Merci to AirForceHops for the can!
