I used to hate this beer before I really got into craft beer. Now that almost all I drink is craft beer, this is my go to light beer. Something u can drink a lot of and doesn’t taste like water like similar priced beer.

Botella 35,5 cl. Color dorado clarito. Espuma? En seguida desaparece. Aroma,sabor... Pasada. Contiene 2 (dos) "E". Gases. A ver, cuando se pone en la calle + 40ºC y tomar esta maravilla quimica, cambiare mi opinion.

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2017 Aroma: Subtle grass/cereal notes. Appearance: Light golden color with clear liquid and a minimal white head. Taste: Light sweet notes behind a medium sourness. Palate: Light body with thin texture and average carbonation. Subtle bitter finish. Overall: The black (and I think original) version is Negra Modelo and it is already soft, so a pale lager version was not surprise to be so bland.

Dose in einer Bar in Tampa. Sehr viel Kohlensäure, Aroma und Geschmack nach süßlichen Malz. Letztendlich aber trinkbar.

Go to beer on a hot sunny day! A posh Corona for sure but very much a fantastic session beer.

Pours gold with a thin white head. Aroma is of malt and yes, grapes. Flavor is of malt and water. No aftertaste which isn’t surprising since there isn’t much taste anyway.

DocJitsu (2025) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - FEB 13, 2017
Pours a crystal clear golden with a very short white head. Corn and green grape on the nose. Full body and a crispness on the back of the tongue. Corn flavor with ample bitterness at the finish.

So you have to take the south of the border beers for what they are. Outstanding? No. But with a slice of lime after a day of yard work, pretty gosh darn good. Modelo along with Corona may be the best of the lot. A pale yellow with not much head. And no scent that I can discern. It tastes of straw and grain. Lime saves it. Very slight bitter ending. Toss one down and then drink another. You can do worse.

Straight from the bottle to wine glass very cold beer Appearance: Light pale yellow, minimal head, a lot of lacing Aroma: scent smell of malt, nothing else Taste: not really great Mouth feel: very carbonated Overall: good beer for the hot weather
