24 oz tall boy. Pasadena, CA. Snow in the local mountains following a stormy weekend - lots of muddy mountain biking - awesome. Sorry, that all excites me more than the beer. I mean hey, is anyone actually reading up on Modelo Especial ratings for real connoisseur insights??? Actually, this ainít that bad for a "brown-bagginí it" kind of evening at the local mini mart. Light fizzy yellow (trivia, author?: "Fizzy Yellow Beer is for Wussies"). Hay aroma with a slight manufactured fruity sweetness. cheap lager flavor. Ahhh, at $1.99 itíll do.

It is what it is. Way better than American Lite beers, equivilent to a Budwieser. Pale, thin head, lively mouthfeel, highly carbed, and a thin body. Flavor is kind fo bitter and lacking any real flavor. On the plus side, you donít really taste the rice/corn adjuncts. Why drink this when you can have a Boddingtons, it wonít overpower anyone with flavor, but at least whatís there taste good. Better than most mass produced pale lagers. Not nearly as good as the Negro version!

Poured from a 12 oz aluminum can, very classy, I know. Aroma is faint with light lemon, light dough, mild apple and pear (maybe to all of the above). Pours medium yellow with a small white head that goes away far to quickly. No lacing (big suprise I am sure). Initial flavor is sweet followed by bitter and then something bad at the end. Not to pleasent. I have a faint memory of the stuff tasting better out of the bottle, but that is not what I rated.

This my favorite cerveza by far. Plus theyíre smart enough to put it in a can so you can take it to the beach, no glass on the beach here in SD. Pours a nice full yellow color, clearish, with a sudsy white head that fades quickly to just a few bubbles on the surface. Smells of malt, not too strong of a nose though. Tastes of lots of malt, nice and crisp, with a touch of fruit in the aftertaste. Thin, crisp (when cold), and well carbonated. Iíll drink it all day long, when on the beach of course.

Poor choice. Bland entry that tasted salty to me and thatís never good. Pale, uninviting appearence with a comperable finish. Should come with instructions to only consume if the temperature exceeds 100 and if your only other option is Miller Lite.

Can (710ml!!) from Texas courtesy of my In-Laws. This can is way too big, itís ridiculous. Pours a clear bubbly gold with a spare diminishing white head. Very, very mild aroma, I pretty much canít detect anything except a faint sugary sweetness. Flavourís also very mild and itís watery with only hints of grain, malt, corn and hops. Light crisp body. Thereís nothing foul or bad here, itís not stale or skunky, but man itís so frigginí bland. I guess it would be refreshing on a hot summer day in lieu of water.

I picked this at random off a supermarket shelf and found its Miller meets a malty Schmidts taste was actually ok. I think it would be an improvement as a lawnmower beer. It had a mild bitterness to it with some malts showing and going.

One of the better pale lagers to come out of mexico. I still try to avoid it if I can.

I can only bong this beer, I just canít stand that taste. If you do not get a cold can you will most likely confuse the smell for piss.
