COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Aurora prominently features a couple of brand spankin’ new American hops: Equinox and 07270. Equinox offers both pungent fruit and rare dank was; 07270 is like the offspring of an orange and a pine cone. We’ve married that remarkable hop combination with a rye-heavy malt bill, giving Aurora a spicy, bready backbone to support the heavy hop load. A gorgeous, deep ruby hue makes this a real purdy beer in the glass. Drink it with your eyes.

On tap at zpizza. Deep red colour, medium head, slighlty earthy yeast flavour and some hop pine.

Depp, earthy, spicy beer. Not a hop homb, this is a rounded multilayered beast. Very fun drinking.

maekchu (4069) - Hirakata, JAPAN - JAN 12, 2017
Can from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi) online shop. Very hoppy, citrusy nose, with some spicy rye notes and caramel. Copper-tinged brown color. Piney, light rye peppery notes, earthy, some stone fruitiness, and a piney bitter finish. Medium body, with moderately pleasant carbonation. Good mouthfeel. (Amber-like color, but probably not an amber ale, as it is listed above. Much more like an IPA). Pretty damn good!

Pours a slightly hazy golden brown from the can with fluffy off-white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of resinous pine hops and earthy toasted malts. Taste follows, with a hint of rye spice. This is a solid American red.

kramer (6908) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 9, 2016
Pours a clear amber body with a small fizzy beige head. The nose is spicy rye with a nice citrusy hoppiness. Flavor is about what it promises, just slightly spicy up front, citrusy hops, light rye bread finish with just a slight sweetness on the back end. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation and a lingering rye/bitter finish.

Hoponmate (309) - NEW ZEALAND - NOV 26, 2016
Smell and taste is that of a quite fruity candy. The rye gives it a minimal spice. Hops are fruity with a lovely sherbet finish.
