COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Black House is an oatmeal coffee stout bursting with coffee aroma and flavor. Modern Times is one of the only breweries in the world to roast our own coffee, which allows us to be exceptionally picky about which coffees we use and how we roast them. The result is an abundantly flavorful beer thats incredibly complex and aromatic, with loads of roast character and a chocolate-covered espresso bean finish. But Black House packs all that flavor into a reasonable package: at only 5.8% ABV, it can comfortably be consumed by the pint.

473ml can, gift from trade with JC. Aroma: intense roasted coffee, light tobacco, maybe cinnamon. As it warms up, chocolate comes though and add some nice level of complexity. Nose really reminds me of some Cycle coffee week. App: dark brown, small to minimal brown head leaving minimal brown lacing. Taste and palate: medium body, texture feels light, lots of coffee in mouth, roasty light bitter finish. Overall: good. Could use of a bigger body but interesting quality coffee in there. For sure this aint a beer for people that dislike coffee because they hate it a lot. But as a coffee geek, I enjoy it. Well executed.

Backlog. Ciemnobrunatny stout. Bardzo sympatyczny, z wyrazistym kawowym profilem. Modern Times zdecydowanie umie w kawę. Minimalnie bardziej kremowe ciało by nie zaszkodziło, ale i tak super pijalny i sesyjny.
