Sampled from a 16 oz can this beer poured a black color with a huge foamy brown head that lingered forever and left decent lacing. The aroma was dry, roasty, toasty, woody and had a coffee note. The flavor was bitter, dry and roasty with wood and coffee. Long finish. Medium body. Decent. Block (3222) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - DEC 31, 2017
Backlog entry prior to closing out 2017. Well rounded, as expected. Nothing too unusual.

Pint can. Coffee aroma with notes of roasted malt and dark chocolate. Pours black with a huge mocha brown head that has excellent retention and some lacing. Starts with roasted malt and dark chocolate flavors as well as a rich, full body and silky smooth mouthfeel. Finishes dry, but quite smooth with robust coffee flavors that linger on the palate after each sip. Not a huge coffee fan, but this one isn’t too bad.
