By the looks of it, I’m the THIRD person to rate this from a can! Very citrusy. You can really taste the characteristics of the Nelson hops. Quite delicious, actually. Not too astringent, not too malty. I really dig the grapefruit flavors. Did I mention it is IN A CAN! I mean, come on... what are the odds? Good stuff, would buy from again, A++++++.
Modern indeed. So much to like here. Powerful amber with very contemporary cutting clean hops leaving a mineral grassy edge, which funnily enough, that gives a nod to the traditional style. Good length and really more red IPA in style perhaps? Impressive. rdixon77 (2829) - Georgia, USA - JUL 13, 2017
Thanks Carl! Very good amber that has a ton of tropical and dank hops. Smooth malt body that holds up with the hops well. Easy drinking. dmac (6259) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - JUL 12, 2017
Tallboy can. This amber ale can teach a thing or two to all the lame ass IPAs being pumped out like assembly machine line shit beers. Poured a thinner clear light amber with a foamy off white head. Aroma/flavor of bread crusts, grassy hops, dry oranges, old nutshell, dry citrus rind, touch of earthy hops and super old pine needles. hjalmar (7) - - JUL 12, 2017 does not count
This is a nice beer with it's own taste. I think a bit of Leffe Blond but it still has it's own character. Only tasted two. Will order again.

Lots of toffee and candied orange. Some other fruits (tropical maybe). Sweet confectionery like malt.Tastes like fruity lollies and almost artificial and a bit sterile. Not getting much dankness. Kind of a strange one.

Bitter, slightly sour, round and full and rich. Tangerine and earthy hop aromas are intense and attack the palate with just the right amount of intensity. italianjohn (3133) - Penndel, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 2, 2017
Pale deep copper amber pour with a thin soapy white head and light sticky lacing ..... aroma of citrusy hops with tropical notes, subtle but has grapefruit, mango, caramel malts and orange ..... taste is of grapefruit, light tropical notes, light lemon, caramel malts, earthy, orange, and a little tart ..... finish has a dry bitter hoppy bite that lingers .... decent hoppy amber jinroh (1586) - ESTONIA - JUN 22, 2017
Pours light amber with abundant and foamy head. Refuses to come down, quite luscious. Aroma hoppy, not only grass and herbal notes but also something really dank and slightly funky. Getting lots of hop oils, almost hop extract levels. Taste reveals also light and well hopped body, nice bitterness that is dominating but in a nice and enjoyable way. Malty body is still somewhat recognisable but giving way to hops that jump forward and define this beer. Overall, nice and drinkable, I would say feels more like an IPA than an amber. explosivedog (1178) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 20, 2017
440ml can. Pours a deep caramel colour with a little head. Lots of sweet toffee, some orange peel, some pepper, maybe a touch of lemon in the finish. Sweet, bitter, and, admittedly, pretty dank. Very nice. ajnepple (6606) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 19, 2017
16 oz single can from Total Wine & More - Laguna Hills. Amber and pretty clear in appearance with a white head. Aroma of mild citrus fruit, bread, caramel malt, toffee, pine and light grassy/floral notes. Similar flavor, adding moderate malt sweetness and mild hop bitterness. Medium body with a balanced finish. Solid amber ale overall, but nothing special.
