Aromat mocno odstaje od smaku w tym piwie. Co do aromatu to jest to niezbyt udane cold brew, czyli bogactwo fasoli i bobu. W smaku ta kawa jest już świetna i zdecydowanie idzie w stronę dojrzałego, wysuszonego orzecha włoskiego. Poza tym jest mega gładkie, ideał dla swojego stylu jeśli chodzi o odczucie w ustach. Zdecydowanie piwo zdominowane przez kawę, świetną w smaku i słabą w aromacie.

Draft. Pours a medium, retained, light beige head, with light lacing, over a clear dark brown (SRM 35) body.......nose is roasted malts with cocoa, chocolate, coffee, mild vanilla, whiskey hints.......taste is cocoa, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, oak, mild whiskey, with light caramel sweet hints, finishing moderately coffee, hop bitter......mouth feel, medium body, mild alcohol heat, moderate carbonation. 22floz bottle, BOD: 08.17.2017, thx olibeer, mug glass. Appears near black in color with a small brown head. Smells like used coffee grains and has a fairly boozy underpinning too. The concept is different with coffee in bourbon barrels. I didn't inquire into the process, but after thinking about it, I'm left to wonder if all this means is that ground coffee sat around in these barrels for a while before being added to this beer. Carob and coffee that has been on the warmer too long are what I taste in a hearty and gritty palate. Draft pour at Cooper's Alehouse, Seattle. A near black pour, slight ruby tint. Coffee roast forward aroma. Inviting. Morning time feel. A bit of a mocha flavor. Good chocolate presence. Toasty malt. Medium thickness for a stout. Coffee bean like lingering bitterness, but with a mellowing caramel note. Good stout overall. Cooper’s, Seattle. Lacing brown gray head on darkest cola brown. Nose of muddy malt and coffee. Fair stout, bitter malt, touch of burnt coffee. Licorice. Not bad, but but exactly my favorite profile.
