May 2017 - Can share at Leighton’s. Many thanks to LKS for this highly rated bier. As ’Modern Times / Great Notion Effective Dreams’. Hazy yellow, cloudy, foamy white head leaves dotted lacing. Aroma is honey and lemon sweets, grapefruit. Body is light and frothy with soft carbonation. Taste is grapefruit, sodawater, floral. Grapefruit-forward. Decent, but I’m at a loss to see why it scores so highly. (7-4-6-3-15=3.5)

Bottleshare at Leighton’s gaff. Big thanks to Leighton for the can. Very hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, lightly sweet. Sweet floral pine and light fresh orange and tangerine. Mild tropical fruits. Light semi dry finish. Spicy linger. Clean, fresh and hoppy, very nice. No idea what 9326 hops bring though, suspect they are overwhelmed by the other hops.

16oz can, courtesy of JPDurden24, pours with a fairly hazy gold body that supports a tall off white head of foam. The aroma offers up soft inviting cantaloupe.and tangerine and tangelo tanginess. The taste delivers smooth soft cantaloupe, mango, pineapple and guava. Behind that are tangy tangerine and nectarine. To midway a mild oat sensation comes to the surface blending into the tropical and citrus juiciness. The is harmony. If there was only an endless supply of this.

16 oz can. Pours a cloudy golden orange color and topped by a small off white head of foam that settles in quickly to a thin film. The aroma is really nice showing huge notes of juicy orange and tangerine along with subtle notes of mango and grapefruit to go with a toasted biscuit malt base and waves of citrus hops. The flavor follows suit and shows more of the juicy orange and tangerine up front to go with notes of mangoes, melon, and grapefruit while toasted biscuit and bready malts add a light back bone to let the hops do their thing. Soft bitterness from the hops on the back end helps to balance out all the juicy citrus fruit. Tastes almost like drinking fresh orange juice. Medium bodied with average carbonation that leads to a juicy, citrusy, and bitter sweet finish. Really tasty stuff here and a pleasure to try.
