COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rye imperial porter rocking a chewy, chocolatey, spicy malt character that coats the mouth and warms the cockles. It starts off rich and full-bodied, with a velveteen texture and creamy dark chocolate flavor, and finishes with a lingering rye spiciness and pleasing earthiness.

Modern Times made a delightful beer in their Haunted Stars Imperial Rye Porter. The rye adds just the right flavor to give that great taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from The Gull, North Vancouver
Black color with huge, compact brown head. There is some cocoa in the aroma, but it’s quite mild. Quite good body strength; the mouthfeel is very smooth; it has a nice profile of roasted malt, rye bread, and some cocoa; blanced bitterness; off dry for the style; hints of cappuccino.
Delicate beer, very well brewed.
