Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Murky orange-blond color. Nice aroma, orange juice, mango, hint of papaya. Moderate body but quite some sweetness here; delicate malt base, then pure fruit juice, sweet oranges, some mango, some pungent fruit such as passion fruit and guava. Some astringency in the final, but it creates a nice feeling with the light alcohol; also, very light dunk.
Balanced and powerful, a very good NE IIPA.

Pint can, consumed in Aug.2017, pours with a totally opaque dull orange gold body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up pulses with inviting tangelo, clementine, mango and cantaloupe in them as well as thin layers of white grape and faint pomegranate. The taste delivers smooth soft juicy cantaloupe and mango followed quickly by tangy juicy tangelo, clementine and some pineapple. Wow! This is dangerously drinkable as it going down so smooth with little sense of the ABV.

Looks like shit...only pale malts allowed if you’re going “cloudy”. Nice curry aroma - turmeric, cumin...really? I’m not complaining but that’s odd. Soft, medium bitterness, harsh alcohol.. Hops are muddled, but then the whole thing is. Big meh.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy opaque bright golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of pithy tropical fruits, piney hops, and some biscuity malt. Flavour is so juicy and fruity, with lots of juicy tropical fruits, resinous hops and a fairy sweet biscuity malt backbone. Rather pithy and yeasty, but in a balanced way. Excellent.

Tasted from can. Pours a super murky yellow orange. Huge tropical fruit aroma. Passion fruit, mango, papaya. Moderately bitter. Lots of tropical fruits on flavor with some dankness. Very well done imperial ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(Rating #7875)

Cloudy yellow orange, on tap. Dayum! OJ with a side of guava papaya and pineapple. Good body, little hint of 9%. As good as any Treehouse I've had. 4.5+

On tap at Reno Public House. Super cloudy opaque orange color. Little to no head. Dry and fruity. Bready texture. Lots of citrus and tropicla fruit. Not overly caustic. Easy drinking and well done.

Delicious beer in a gorgeous can. I heard they have 2 full time graphic designers working at the Brewery, and it really shows. Perfect balance of hops!

MartinT (10239) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 22, 2017
My Bottom Line:
Bountiful citrus fruit leak over green resins and dankness in this very enjoyable Double IPA.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam surrounds the milky yellow.
-This one is all about the hops. Don’t look for the usual West Coast hefty cereals under the hop onslaught.
-Citrus fruit character spans grapefruit, mango, passionfruit and oranges.
-There is no sign of the 9% abv. This is a dangerous brew!
