COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lomaland is Belgian-style saison thats both complex and quaffable. In keeping with the farmhouse tradition, Lomaland is brewed with barley, wheat, and corn, giving it a complex and delicious malt body that pairs beautifully with food. Czech Saaz hops are added in the kettle to give it a lightly grassy, peppery note and just enough bitterness to cleanse the palate. Its distinctively rustic, earthy aroma comes from the unique blend of traditional Belgian yeast strains (95% Dupont/5% Westmalle) we use to ferment it.

Pours a slightly hazy pale golden with velvety white head. Aroma of pepper, hay, clove, and slight citrus. Very dry with your typical saison flavors. Slight pepper hay upfront with mild bitter citrus notes coming thru. Would be a great aperitif as it cleanses the palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

16 oz single can from Total Wine & More - Gilbert, AZ. Slight hazy, pale golden appearance with a fully dissipating white head. Aroma of banana, esters, toasted grain, grassy hops, citrus zest, light peppery spices and earthy yeast. Similar flavor, mild hop bitterness and light grain sweetness. Medium-light body with a crisp feel and a light dry finish. Somewhat refreshing, decent Saison overall. 3.45

Aroma is all belgian esters, lemony and some hop spiciness. Appearance is hazy golden yellow with frothy white head that clings to the glass as it slowly dissipates. Taste is strong Belgian esters forward, lemon tartness likely from the yeast as well followed by a nice hop peppery tanginess. Light sweetness hangs outclosely followed by a light bitterness Palate is almost medium and creamy. Overall a nice Saison. I would like it a bit larger with more body but it is nicely to style. Looking for a little more though at this price.

On tap at St. Augustines, pours a clear pale straw yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of fruity sweet esters from the Belgian yeast, smelling like a typically lobotomized North American saison. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of fruity esters from the Belgian yeast that dont impart much genuine farmhouse character, but end up just cloying the palate. Not a fan.

Of the MT brews Ive tried, Lomaland has been the most straightforward and predictable. It pours golden yellow. Yeasty fruit esters and a light, spicy hoppiness. Belgian-type yeast flavors. Notes of bread, earth, and an almost lager-like sweetness. Summery and thirst-quenching.

Clear light yellow body with a small wispy white head. The nose is light pale malt, fruity, slight farmhouse, little wheat. Flavor is light and crisp with a slight citrusy snap up front. Finishes with a slight spicy note and lightly yeastiness. Very light bodied and crisp with fizzy pinpoint carbonation. Good stuff, light, crisp, snappy.

Saison con notas ctricas en nariz y algo de especias y levadura belga. Muy clara, con cuerpo medio, oleosa. En boca ligeramente amarga. Final un poco acuoso. Muy refrescante y veraniega. Canned: 2015/11/30

Can I think from Beers Gonzo, Earlsdon, Coventry, consumed at home Sunday 13th November 2016 Pours crystal clear gold, sparkling, within a white head, clinically clean looking beer. Clean, fresh nose, a little peppery but with a touch of sweetcorn. A touch of residual sweetness, clean flavours, light hoppiness, dry finish, a touch thin compared to some of the best Belgian Saisons. Good. A6 A5 T6 P3 Ov12 3.2

I am a little surprised at the low overall rating on this one. Compared to most saisons I have had Lomaland has to be one of the most balanced I have had. Cloudy golden straw color. The aroma is yeast, pepper, and lemon. On the taste there is crisp banana, lemon, light pepper, fresh dough and some clove and spice. Very refreshing, light dry finish.
