Tap @Mikkeller Bar, Viktoriagade. Pours deep opaque black with a small, staying creamy beige film head. Aroma has raisins, vanilla, boozy, chocolate, cocoa powder, coffee, raisins. Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has lots of sweetness, big Bourbon character, oak, vanilla, vinious, luscious chocolate. Warms nicely at the end with plenty alcohol and bitterness. Just too sweet in the middle.

Bottle at Strike. Pours a hazed brown to black with a medium sized tan head. Roast, a bit of cocoa, a soft wood tone, and some acidity. Medium bodied, roast and slow cherry fruit and slow acidity. Malt and a bit of fruit. Acid and cocoa, slow acidity. Unintentionally infected I’m sure, but it works well here. Soft acidity, long roast and cocoa. Certainly odd and interesting.

Bottle share. Normal pour, but everything else is superlative. Boozy, sweet aroma. Taste adds some roasty chocolate notes, slick and slippery, boozy notes and requisite warmth. Really nice.

Benzai (16993) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUL 15, 2017
Bottle @ tasting shared by Judyvv. Dark brown to black color, medium sized light brown head. Aroma has a hint of an infection, light to moderately bourbon, alcohol, a hint of sour. Taste malts, bourbon, indeed also a slight hint of an infection since this sour hint is probably not intended. Tastes like it was quite good originally but the infection is annoying in the background.

3.3
Tide (4625) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 24, 2017
Bottle from a friend. Black color, beige head. Bitter taste with roasted malts, dark fruits, a bit of acidic notes, bourbon, alcohol and oak. Bitter finish with roasted malts, dark fruits, chocolate, a bit of acidic notes and bourbon. Good imperial stout, but some kind of an infection seems to going on here.
