A well crafted APA! I love the malty pinch in my throat as this Pale Ale goes down. As the previous review mentioned, this has a cracker like taste that is very enjoyable! I really like this one and can’t wait to see it in a bottle.

One of the best APAs readily available. Modern Times continues to kill it. Best brewery west of the Rockies. Make sure to follow them on instagram. Their special release stuff is absolutely mind blowing.

On tap at Beer NV. Hazy light golden color with a thin white head. Bright crisp citrus with tropical fruit and floral spice. Light body. Easy drinking. Dry bittersweet finish.

16 oz. can. Hazy orange with an ample white head. Smells of light citrus and toasty malt. Tastes of stronger hops. Citrus. A little bit of melon. Cereal and toasty malt backbone. Nice bitterness. Medium light and very drinkable, though not the most aggressive profile.

MetalNHopHead (1976) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - JUL 15, 2017
People who are wary of West Coast ales ought to give Modern Times a chance. The San Diego brewery has a talent for extracting the fruitiest and most nectar-y qualities from their hops. Oneida pours yellow-gold with a fruit-forward lemongrass smell on top of lesser notes of grass and leaves. Bright, fresh taste. Stone fruit, lemon, juicy grapefruit, and crisp, mildly tangy green grapes. That West Coast dankness is here, but it comes more in the form of damp basil than in pine resin. You also get some bittersweet grassy character, yet it’s not to the point where you feel like you’re chewing on lawn clippings. Just a hint of cracker-like malt. Slick, oily feel. Dry mineral finish.

Filtered clean pale gold color with a soapy white head of foam. Fruity citrus driven hops shine through on a light malt base.

deyholla (11605) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 19, 2017
Sampled from the tap at the Lomaland location. Pours a clear pale gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has notes of tropical fruits, green grapes and a bit of flora with grains backing. Flavor has light fruits with green grapes and light grains backing.

crispaire (238) - - JUN 10, 2017
pours clear and straw colored. smells of citrus, floral, and spring. juicy and slightly herbaceous. danky. elegantly simple. crisp and dry. satisfying. modern times does it again!
