Pours porridge yellow with a low white head. Aromas of citrus, bretta, pineapple, mango, resin. Taste is very fruity and quite bitter with some grassy notes and slight funk. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and very juicy with moderate carbonation.

On tap @ Harry’s Hofbrau. Cloudy golden orange beer with a white head. Big time pineapple, mango, and peach. Very citrusy, too. Plenty of grapefruit and orange in particular. There’s a hint of vanilla sweetness to it, some tropical fruits, and lots of lime, actually. Really fruit forward, lightly bitter, and all around soft. Good stuff.

On tap at Harry’s Hofbrau in San Leandro. It pours lightly hazed, pale golden orange color with a creamy white head. The aroma is full with fruity pineapple and orange. Some funky perfume as well. Mild notes of mango candies. Smells awesome. The flavor is pretty much the same. Lots of pineapple, perfume, moldy orange funk. Light acidity and very light bitterness. Mostly musty funk in the finish to complement the big citrus and tropical fruit character. Hints of spicy phenols. Not strong at all. Very interesting as tasty.

Draft. Pours hazed golden orange with a white head. Mild fruity hops, light bretty rustic notes, mild bitterness, low sweetness, and lingering rustic fruity notes. Solid.

Beer 8k. More than worthy, Southern Lands was the cloudier and juicier of the two brett IPAs at MT - both of which were excellent, but this bordered on stupid. Wonderful mélange of tropical fruits, passion and mango and pineapple, moderate bitterness and a little hop stank, and some funky brett to make it even better. Neverwhere was a touch lighter and drier, and not as fruity, though still very very good.

Growler thanks to Dan. Pours a hazy yellow gold with small white head. The aroma is strong brett, citrus, lemon zest. Medium mouth, so much brett, funk, citrus, bitter and light dry finish.
