Draught at Katarina, 11/29/16.
Light amber with strawberry-blonde hues, moderately-high clarity and a small beige head of moderate retention.
Lightly fruity from both yeast and hops with not too much specialty malt present, thankfully. No iced tea or hard, caramel-heavy breadiness. Cherry, grapefruit and mandarin all present lightly, with soft honey a bit of fresh yeast-like nuttiness and no alcohol or flaw.
Very fruity and rustic in the mouth with ample carbonation, strong attenuation and light malt sweetness though I think a little more malt depth could be in order here. Not over-hopped, with pleasant fruitiness and citrics balancing the malt fairly well.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Nice color, but a bit hazy. Good aroma and taste with more bitterness and hops than usually in this style.

I advise you to leave the sediments in the bottle.
Cloudy brownish color with a thick off white head. Good lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and a bit rich carbonation. Bready, a bit citric and some sour fruity notes.
[Bottle from Systembolaget web order in Sweden]

Aroma is hoppy caramel malt with a touch of pine. Taste is clean with a resinous sensation mixed with flowers and bready malts. Very nice bitterness in the aftertaste. This is how far you can stretch the style and 3.6 is really high for a red ale in my book. Cheers!

Hazy dark brown. Taste and aroma a little bit of orange. Taste also has rose pepper. Clean fresh hops in the taste, and a fresh hoppy finish too. Not bad at all. Unusually Phil didnt have this, Anna grabbed it whilst fetching other beers.

[email protected] Helsinki 2015. Hazy reddish amber colour with a mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is fruity, some wooden, mild malts as well as some bready notes. Flavour is bready and quite crisp malts along with some fruity and floral notes. A bit herbal and wooden notes toward the finish.

Turtles (2511) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAY 19, 2015
330ml bottle from Systembolaget. Cloudy, dark amber, large off-white head that sinks slowly, very slowly. Aromas of black currant and cranberry juice. The taste begins with light malty sweetness, red and dark berries, then its a sharp bitterness, the white of citrus peel, pine needles and bitter almond. The sharp aftertaste lingers in the mouth.

[email protected] Amber murky hazy. Bready malts, some caramels, green citrus on nose. Med light bodied, dry, hoppy finish. Caramels, some light nuttyness in flavour, pines. Decent amberale. Hoppy bitter though, and bready slight huskey.
