COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Moeder Overste is a triple beer with 8% alcohol content. With its full, strong taste, it is possibly one of the best brews produced by Lefébvre. Flanders and the Netherlands have been able to appreciate this heavenly beer for the last 15 years. Moeder Overste has a golden hue and is perfumed with spices, wood and fruit flavours mixed with malt to produce a fine bitterness.
It can be served cold at 5°C or with the chill taken off at 10°C, depending on one’s taste. Enjoy.

[email protected] Kampela, Helsinki. Cloudy golden color, white head. Bright fruity flavor with apples and alcohol. Full body, very high carbonation. Not bad, but nothing to get really excited about.

bluevegie (3073) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JAN 15, 2009
Sunburnt yellow body with a decent head and leaves good lacing. Sweet aroma with notes of fruit, spice and yeast. Not too heavy in the body which makes it pretty easy to drink, malts mainly in the taste with the candi sugar. Starting to like this style of beer.

330ml bottle - - Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam - - Simple, almost lagery, aroma. Carbonation high. Thin, a bit raw, a bit lagery. Not a good example of a Belgian beer, and not a tripel at all.
