COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Executive Chef Carl Chambers cooked over 100 lbs of red delicious apples before smoking the apples in house. The resulting preparation was infused with maple syrup during a 4 hour reduction process. Brewmaster Richard Dube then added the smoked apple reduction to this spring seasonal lager. The result is a 3.7 % ABV session beer that quenches the thirst with a subtle smokey finish.

Draft: pours an orangeish color with a white head. Aroma is just what you’d expect, smoky apples. I enjoyed this as something a bit different, it’s a different smoky beer than I have ever had, and I appreciated it a lot.

Draft to taster at Moerlein House. Looks decent; a transparent orangish-brown with white lacing. Smells and tastes of smoke and blah with a subpar mouthfeel. Fail.
