bottle. Poured dark auburn with a thin tan head. Medium body, tight carbonation, tart finish. Flavour of caramel malt, a bit tart, a little treacle, warming alcohol note.

bottle @ Party Source / Bellevue KY --- Clear brown color, beige rim head, streaks of lace. Taste is malt infused with chocolate and cherry. No change until a light bitter draws things to a close in the finish. I was surprised to detect alcohol late. A little heavy, somewhat one-note, but drinkable, none-the-less.

Bottle to snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; a semi-transparent amberish-brown with thin off-white lacing. Smells of sweet malt. Tastes like it smells with some toffee and light hop notes Average on the palate. Okay.
