Missing the strong malt backbone one would expect in an Oktoberfest. Seemed to be totally lacking in any character. Kind of just a basic, Boring beer

Draft sample from notes. Pours a clear orange golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale grainy malts, hay, light peppery spice, a mild fruit character, and soft bready malts, lighter bodied, sweet, I guess ok for the style, just not something I would revisit. This is some sweet garbage, not a fan. It's cloudy in the glass and headless. It's kind of worty and unfinished tasting, undercarbonated and cloying, really just poorly done from top to bottom. Patrickctenchi (6867) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - JAN 16, 2017
Hazy gold with a thick, off-white head.
Orange, grain, caramel aroma.
Taste is orange/butterscotch.....pretty tangy at first.....orange-candy-like.
It’s different....and really not bad after the initial "twang" to it. Drjohnrock (841) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 1, 2017
Draft at Wiseguy Lounge at Goodfellas Pizza in Over The Rhine on October 6, 2016. Cloudy gold/amber hue, interesting and offbeat malty nose, good malty flavor with biscuit notes and some complexity, enough hops to keep things honest. A little light in body but an intriguing brew nonetheless.

Can. Orange, butterscotch malt, and straw aroma. Golden yellow with large white head. Moderately sweet tangy orange, butterscotch/caramel malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Decent body. Kind of grew on me. Capa (3804) - GUAM - OCT 9, 2016
Can. Ultra hazy orange. Toasted malts, light sweetness, some background crispy hops. Relatively boring and yet I found it to be a decent, serviceable fest beer. Shot (578) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - SEP 23, 2016
Can. Pours dark golden with a thin creamy head. Aromas of Pilsner hops and mild malt. Flavors are caramel malt, slight citrus, toasted bread, and bit of grassiness. Mild flavor. Not a very interesting marzen. Tmoney99 (15403) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 4, 2016
Draft. Poured clear dark amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus hop and malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable smooth brew. rondphoto (4623) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - AUG 28, 2016
bottle @ Florence Freedom game --- Clear medium orange amber, thin ivory head cover, stripes of lace. Taste is somewhat thin malt with a little fizz and caramel on the swallow. Then, only a whisper of hops. Light, balanced, but also forgettable.
