COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A classic German wheat beer made from 60% wheat malt that imparts a fine acidity to the palate. The yeast is the real star of the show, imparting the classic banana and clove flavor and aromas. A russet brown color might suggest a heavier beer, but don’t be fooled. This is as light and refreshing as our Se7en with just a touch more fruitiness.

Draft to taster from notes. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have banana, cloves, caramel, toffee, wheat malts with just a hint of tart character, nothing really pops with this one.

Draft: Cloudy, brown-red with a light tan head. Caramel, banana aroa. Taste is cola, banana, clove, light chocolate malt. Not bad, drinks heavier than you’d think.

Draft. Poured a hazy orange color with a n average white head that was mostly lasting and produced good lacing. Moderate yeast, clove and banana aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable brew.

on tap @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear, dark amber, thick rim head, sheet of lace. Taste is sweet and sour malt going in, then it grows substantially in the palate, turning sweeter and adding butter rum. Mild bitters appear in the finish. Unique taste and movement. Decent.

Draft at The Lager House. Pours a barely cloudy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of banana, clove, toffee, brown sugar, wheat- smells like banana bread. The flavor is a slightly weaker, drier version of the same. Light-bodied, with low to moderate carbonation and a thin, sweet mouthfeel. Good, but I’d probably rather have Seven.

Draft. Banana, clove, and chocolate malt aroma. Brown with moderate head. Sweet banana, clove, and chocolate toffee malt flavor. Nice body. Very solid.

Draft in a weizen glass at the lager house - sweet wheat toffee-ish nose. Sip adds the banana clove gang. Sweet and medium bodied. I love the style and this does it justice. Light finish.

Taster on tap at Moerlein Lagerhouse. Half-hazy reddish brown color. Thin off-white head. Some ropes and splotches of lace. Light banana, hint of chocolate. Toasty aroma, hint of dark fruit. Moderate sweet aroma, very light rough edge to the taste. Lighter body. Smooth, kind of soft lighter carbonation. More dry finish. OK dunkelweizen. A little rougher than necessary, not as much german yeast, banana, and chocolate type flavors as I’d like from the style.
