Draft at Mayvberry (in the building formerly occupied by The Courtyard Cafe). Cloudy gold/amber color, very little head, appealing sweet/fuirty aroma, pungent sweet and spicy flavor that’s amply assertive with notable clove and yeast notes. Very nice brew.
Draft: Pours a very pretty clear orange color with a nice white head. Aromas are of some fruit, and a nice funky spicy aroma. The flavor is nice and clean tasting spice and that tart funkiness that I love from a farmhouse ale. Very good... perfect for the style. Ratman197 (14668) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - SEP 30, 2014
Poured a clear orange amber with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of straw, ginger, orange zest and grapefruit. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of bread, orange zest and light ginger with a smooth dry finish. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 8, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 9, 2013 Taster on tap at Hopnosis 2013, of a version that was ’12 and ’13 blended together then dry-hopped (merged into this entry). Mostly hazy golden orange color. Minimal to no head. Good citrusy hop nose, definitely get a lot of those citrusy, american hops in this, much more so than in standard La Grange. Light caramel, biscuity malt. Medium-plus body. Smooth, crisp lighter carbonation. Lightly sticky finish. Easy-drinking, and with good texture, but maybe a little flat. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter. Solid hoppy beer.... So hop-forward though, drinks more like a flat IPA than a saison. 7/2/6/4/13Chudwick (3180) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - OCT 27, 2013

Sample on tap at Cincy beerfest. Good thin foamy white head. Some lace. Half hazy orange yellow color. Nice satisfying spicy pepper aroma. Good nice lighter carbonation. Good zest, sweet taste. Light banana. Tasty
Draft - pours deep gold with little white head. Bread, light citrus, floral and yeasty. Expected more of a wheat or straw presence. Mildly sweet with a tiny hop (22 ibu) kick. Fruity aftertaste. garrison (812) - Cin. city, Ohio, USA - DEC 6, 2012
Alright, I had thiis one at the Moerlein OTR brewey opening, and I was impressed by its "bready" taste and heightened malts. Yes, I know that there are better "French Farmer Beers" out there, but I like this one!

Pour at Cincinnati’s First Craft Beer Only Oktoberfest on 10/6/12. Pours a clear gold color with a thin white head. Funky nose also consisting of citrus and a big herbal note. Malty and herbal flavor with a crisp finish. Tmoney99 (14365) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 25, 2012
Draft. Poured a cloudy yellow color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate floral hop, citrus and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a friend.

Draft to pint. Looks good; a semi-cloudy orange with thin white lacing. Smells doughy and mildly sweet. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Solid. phaleslu (10099) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 13, 2012
Draft at the Lager House, served in the house pint glass. Pours a hazy orange-gold color with a small eggshell white head. Aroma of orange and lemon citrus, sweet and bready malts, mild peppery spice, and a light dose of barnyard funk. The flavor is similar, with orange and lemon citrus (more tarness than the nose), apricots, sweet and bready malts, mild pepper, barnyard funk, and grass. Light-medium bodied, with a fruity, malty mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Nice summer saison.
