Draft at the Lager House from notes. Pours a clear dark golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have lightly toasted, biscuity malt, a splash of caramel, citrus, pine resin, grass, mild floral notes, mild to moderate bitterness, softer carbonation than the first which creates a creamy smoothness to the beer, decent pale ale. drfabulous (8809) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - FEB 20, 2015
Draught at Lexington Beerworks. Citrus aroma and taste. Orange body in pour. Light bitterness. Well done and tasty. Tmoney99 (15119) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 9, 2014
Draft. Poured clear dark golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate complex hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable brew. phaleslu (10895) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 21, 2014
Draft at the Lager House, served in a pint glass. Pours a clear gold color with a small, frothy white head that leaves some lace in the glass. Not a whole lot of aroma, but what’s there is pleasant enough - grass, straw, lighter citrus fruits, florals, and pine. The flavor amps up a bit and carries more bitterness. Also crackers, straw, and a bit of soap. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry, bitter mouthfeel that lingers. I’d have liked for it to have a little more nose, but otherwise this is a nice APA and the hops come together well in the flavor. DrSilverworm (10000) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 17, 2014
Half pint on tap at the Lager House. Clear golden orange color. Thin white head. Leaves decent, kind of loose dots and ropes of lace. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, lightly creamy lighter carbonation. Lightly slick. Good c-hop aromas. Some mild grapefruit, pine, peppery hop. Bready, lightly caramel malt. Moderate sweet, moderate bitter taste. Solid, balanced pale ale. Easy-drinking.
