BlackHaddock (7356) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 20, 2012
May 2010: No Horny Toads mentioned on the font. One of 24 taps in the Greenroom, Flagstaff, just a few miles from the brewery. Amber/orange in colour, very little head on my pour. Hops, hops and more hops seemed to be the over riding theme with this hoppy IPA. The hop mix/blend/interwoven combination however produces a very drinkable beer. Can’t call it well balanced because someone forgot to put any malted barley into the brew! Pity we didn’t have time to visit the brewhouse.

Draght. Had a pint of this at a friend’s house tonight. Very, very good. I’ll be looking for this in the tap rooms.

Tap at Papago. Hazy amber-orange color pour with a nice head. Aroma is mostly citrusy hops with some caramel malt in the back. Flavor is pretty balanced between sweet and bitter. Not mind-blowing, but good.

Light orange pour. Grapefruit peel, resin, caramel aroma. Flavor is bitter, good citrus peel, lemony notes. Not half bad!

Sparky (2244) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - SEP 5, 2010
On tap at Papago on 8/6/10. Pours clear dark amber with a one finger off-white head. The nose is caramel and ripe citrus. The taste is caramel, ripe citrus and a decent pine finish that lingers. Medium bodied. Decent IPA.

BOLTZ7555 (3027) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - OCT 10, 2009
Sampled at GTBF. Muddled orange-copper pour with a 1/4 inch eggshell head that left a bit of lacing. Quite hoppy with an amazing natural tangerine presence. Also possesses Ponderosa and honey. Medium mouthfeel...really solid beer.

cbkschubert (2901) - BFE, Arizona, USA - OCT 3, 2009
On tap @ 1702 - Poured a slightly hazy golden color with a thin white head. Light layered lacing. Aroma and flavor is pine and floral hops with a touch of toasted malt sweetness. Has a slight lingering astringent aftertaste. Medium body. A nice IPA. Nice to hear Mogollon is ramping up production.

GeneralGao (3614) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - JAN 21, 2007
Draft at the brewpub. Clear reddish-orange color with an off white head that laced the glass. Smelled of malty caramel, light sprucy hops, and vanilla. Dry on the tongue with moderate hop bitterness, especially at the end. Pleasant malty caramel and vanilla flavors, but only minimal flowery hop flavor.

User37895 (3042) - - JUN 6, 2006
Poured with the amberish color and with a huge and nice head (concave up). Very nice presentation. The flavor was of caramel malts (didn’t catch much except the hops in the flavor) with some definite hops in the aroma.
