From Arizonas high country comes Wapiti, hand crafted with mountain pure water, two-row malted barley, yeast and Yakima Valley hops. Our Brewers use traditional methods to create this full-bodied amber ale with a distinct hoppy aroma. Wapiti should be enjoyed cool not cold to best expeirience the complex character and flowery aroma.

craig hooks me up with another tick for the road. Great guy. Beer pours an amber pour with a somewhat creamy off white head. Nose of dried peaches, oxidized apples, toasted grain and an odd hard cheese note. Flavor is a bit watery with some very faint hops. Old apples, bread, honey and light tofee notes. Ok.

Can. Pours a hazy and somewhat murky looking light brown amber with a thin to medium sized white head. Nice biscuity malt and some clean citrus hop notes. Medium bodied, malty with a touch of chocolate. Finishes up with a touch of booze, some earthy malt, and a light sweetness. Interesting.

12oz can pours copper with gold edges and smooth moon cratered tan head. The aroma offers up sweet malts, sweet wort notes, some biscuit malts and then loads of sugary sweetness at the end of the draw. The taste is . . . whoa, this is hugely sweet and only tempered by timid notes of various roasted malts. This is too sugary sweet to even finish. Meh!

Orange, with a thin ring of foam. Smells bready, toasty, with a whiff of caramel. Taste is pretty much standard amber - toast and caramel, plus a bit of hops. Slightly off or stale note in the finish.

12oz can. Unfiltered murky orange-amber. Steady oily off-white head. Orange citrus hop notes and amber malt aroma. A pretty insipid West Coast Amber. Soapy, watery mouthfeel. Inoffensive, not really off by any means. One dimensional, unexceptional.

This has a malty aroma, nice orange appearance. Flavor is similar, quite malty with a thinnish finish. Pretty on style.
