"Go big or go home".

Pours deep amber with a mid sized head. Sweet and malty aroma with hints of toffee, marshmallows and alcohol. Thick and sticky mouth feel. Taste is sweet and has notes of caramel, toffee and alcohol; a little bit too much alcohol I think.

Bottle from Systembolaget (30 SEK). Red-brown with nice head. Intense taste with fruit, a bit sweet, a bit bitter and some alcoholic notes. A real warmer aduring winter. Very good! Might get even better if stored.

Beautiful beer. Intense pineapple aroma with hints of grapefruit, peach, passionfruit, and caramel. Creamy crown. Sweet taste of pineapple, exotic fruits, peppermint candy cane, light bread, with a modest bittersweet finish.

Pours dark brown with subtle white head. Nose is dates, raisins and other sweet dried fruits. It is discrete but perfect for a barley wine in my opinion. Taste is also dried fruits with lingering finish of citrusy hops. For an american barley wine the hopping rate is quite low. In my opinion it is for the better. Body is quite thin also, would like more residual sugars. Still, this is the best barley wine yet from Sweden! I am hoping for more to come since it is my favorite style.
