Sweet fruity aroma. Dark fruits and dark syrup is prevalent. Some alcohol can be noticed as well.
Clear orange colour with thin beige head
Fruity and sweet taste finished of with a nice level of bitterness. I like the malty sweetness (Brittish barley wine) combined with the bitterness mostly associated with American ones.
Full body, medium carbonation and a bit sticky in the texture
It is bit to sweet and alcoholic for my taste but the bitterness helps a bit with this. It is nice though in small sips.

Bottled from Systembolaget Deep, clear amber with a small head. Rather sweet aroma with perfume-ish hops. Sweet and vinous flavour. Creamy mouthfeel. Medium to high bitterness. Soapy hoppiness.

Tydlig klasskillnad mellan arom och smak, där smaken dra det längre strået. Aromen rätt svag, smaken däremot....

Fruity and alcohol aroma. Sweet, fruity, yet with just the right flavor. Not too strong or too weak. An aftertaste which lies down long back of the mouth of fruit. But still not as excessively long. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Go big or go home, this brew obviously should have gone home.. A mess of syrupy malts, tired hops and boozy, not even worth to down quickly, another letdown from Mohawk..

Dark amber color, clean, with small head, not persistent. Caramel aroma, some hop, maybe fruity, not convincing (6.5). Good malt and caramel flavor, but the body is too lean, and less sweet than a typical Barley Wine, it’s therefore easier to drink, nevertheless not on style; quite strong bitterness, not overwhelming, with mostly a resiny character, and not much fruits; the alcohol tickles the tongue in the end.
Good, without impressing; balanced and clean.
Probably not suitable for aging; probably better moved to another style (American Strong).

Rødbrun klar med tynt lys beige skum. Malt, karamell og rosinlukt. Medium søt, medium - bitterhet, kjenner alkoholen. lite kullsyre. Kort ettersmak

"None see-through" but kinda clear, ruby red liquid. With really small white-ish head. The aroma is quite anonymous but makes me think of barley like Dark Crystal, some sweet fruits and some alcohol. Taste is sweet, a little bitterness (should be 80 IBUs). Nice soft, medium mouth feel. Was expecting something more like Bigfoot or Old Ruffian, but this was still pleasant!

stecken (174) - SWEDEN - DEC 15, 2013
Bottle. Clear amber with a white head. Aroma is malt, raisins, hops. Taste is very sweet with caramel and alcohol. Medium to full body. Sweet warming finish with slight bitterness.

VsXsV (4442) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - DEC 13, 2013
Bottle. Clear deep copper liquid with small off-white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, bread, toffee, dried fruit, raw sugar, alcohol, toast and light fruity yeast esters. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium bitter with notes of toast, alcohol, bread, citrus and toffee. Nice malt base. Medium bodied with low carbonation. Undercarbonated and a bit boozy, could use more hop punch as well. Otherwise, nice.
