COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
2009-2010, 2014 brewed at Slottskällans Bryggeri. 2012 brewed at de Proef brewery. From 2015 brewed at own plant at Vega Bryggeri.

35,5 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 23.04.2010
Aroma has roasted notes, some chocolate, fruity hops, coffee and hints of licorice. Flavour has roasted malt, some salty licorice and unusual amount of fruity hops. Finishes with coffee, hops and gooseberry bush. Feels a bit thin, perhaps this could work better around 7%. But not bad anyway.

Countbeer (6286) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - APR 15, 2012
Bottle: Thanks to VsXsV: Dark brown pour, medium vast tan to brown head, changes slowly into a sticky tan brown head on top of a deep murky brown to black beer. The aroma’s are a fine mix of light roasted barley malts, coffee, some light toffee caramel sweets, some hops and it’s floral fruit character, some light hints of dark chocolate and a hint of light light stingy grains. The smell is overall dark roasted, but not as complex as many (imperial) stouts, still really good! Taste is a nice roasted medium bitter mix of: coffee, roasted malts, roasted barleys, some coffee roast, medium bitter, hint of creamy dark chocolate, light sticky and dark chocolate drenched hops. Roasted herby creamy light bitter aftertaste. Low carbo, soft almost silky more creamy mouthfeel, medium to more fuller body and a creamy light sticky texture. Really good considering it’s alcohol percentage.
