Koelschtrinker (21489) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 7, 2011
8/11/12/12/6/12

330 ml shared bottle that pours black verging on clear brown at the edges. Creamy light brown head leaving a good lacing. Roasted notes, coffee, chocolate aromas in the nose. Roasted, sweet and salty liqorice, coffee in the mouth on bitter and acidic flavors. Medium to full body. Smooth to drink with medium carbonation. Very good.

yngwie (17233) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 10, 2010
Bottle, courtesy of saxo. It pours a reddish dark brown body, clear, and topped by a lasting, beige head. Meaty and roasted nose with some dark fruits. Chocolate too. The flavor is sweet and meaty, roasted and slightly burnt. Dark dried fruits and licorice as well as faint notes of ashtray. Some bitterness in the end. Full-bodied, nicely carbonated and quite dry. A beer with a nice aroma and even nicer flawor, one that would be nice as an all-nighter. 100812

courtesy of Per - a pitch black beer under a foamy and long lasting dark beige head; nice lacework; aroma of roasted coffee with notes of vanilla; some decent fruity hoppiness below; medium-bodied and with a fair astringent bitterness; long coffeish, hoppy and roasted aftertaste - very nice one

LoFi (1752) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 25, 2010
UPDATED: MAR 28, 2012 Black with a brown head. Aroma: cocoa, cream, roasted malt, dark chocolate, citrus, some fruit. Taste: Dark bitter chocolate, coffee, hints of rubber, some fruit and citrus. Creamy mouthfeel. Really nice! Tastes more than its 5.5%
The above is an aged bottle, trying the 2012 bottles, I get the same as on draught in 2010: hoppier with citrus and pine, still the same chocolate and licorice, higher bitterness, dry finish.
