(33 cl bottle from Bunker Beer) Pours black with frothy, tan head. Good retention and lace. Aroma is roasted malt with pleasant notes of herbal hops and hints of nuts and booze. Oily texture, soft carbonation, medium body and an alcoholic, warming finish. Taste follows the nose but the alcohol gives it more of medicinal character. Would probably benefit from some aging.
Sample at a tasting at Systembolaget in October 2012.
Black with a small tan head. Heavy aroma with notes of alcohol, coffee, nuts and some notes of "earth". About the same in the taste. Also some notes of ash. Quite tasty.
