English: Mohawk Blizzard is an extreme beer. It is brewed with ten malts, dark cane sugar and honey, as well as eight different varieties of hops. All this to help with complexity, while providing balance and elegance. Clear dark red brown colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, light heavy hoppy, grapefruit. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, hoppy, licorice, dark malts. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. Bottle at a ChrisO Tasting - London. Pours black-brown with a thick beige foam head. Big alcohol and dark malt aroma. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with boozy kick, dark malts, rich dark chocolate. Full bodied with fine, smooth carbonation. Warm finish with still more alcohol bite, rich dry chocolate, roasted malts, char. Nice if a bit overly robust at times.
