Cloudy amber color, with small creamy head. Very nice aroma of malt and citrusy hops, with some bread and biscuits, and a background of soil, frequently found in Swedish beers, but quite pleasant in this case.
Caramel flavor, with lean mouthfeel; strong hopping, with plenty of resins and some bitter orange; it’s quite salty.
As expected from Mohawk, a very good hoppy beer; much hoppier than all Oktoberfest, but with the correct malt profile.
@ Basunen: En gräsig fräsch doft och smak - inte mycket som påminner om den lite söta oktoberölen. En frisk pale ale kanske gyllenbock (9177) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 23, 2012
Clear amber with a brief white head. Fresh aroma of hops, malt and grass. The taste was medium sweet with hops, fruit, malt and caramel. Refreshing and a nice beer to drink. However far from a traditional German Okberfestbier.

Bottle (33 cl) from Systembolaget. CLear amber, medium white head. Strong hoppy aroma with tropical fruits on a bready malt background. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Semi dry, medium bitterness. Dunbar72 (136) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 21, 2012
Bottle. Pours almost clear golden with a medium sized off-white head. Hoppy aroma, citrus, grass and hay. Malty/grassy to the taste, some citrus and whool. Light body, medium bitterness, dry end.

Bottle. This one’s all about hops, and that’s not bad. However, I kind of miss the nice maltiness present in the earlier Mohawk-lagers. This one’s a bit, overhopped, bitter and not at all true to style. Drirnkable, tough. gnoff (10336) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - SEP 17, 2012
33 cl bottle from Systebolaget i Mölndal. BB 130103, consumed on September 17, 2012SaintMatty (7364) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - SEP 17, 2012
Very well filled bottle, very little headspace. Small co2 sound (pys) when opening.
Hazy amber color, big lasting white head. Citrus, tropical fruit, sweet, malty, hops, fresh, caramel, mango, slight bit resin scent. Sweet, caramel, herbal, hoppy, bitter, round, biting taste. Starts off sort of sweet, turns more to a lingering bitterness along the way, via fairly large hop bite to it. Aftertaste is mainly hoppy resinous bitter. Pretty rich mouthfeel, feels like either low co2, or that it has merged into the beer more. Fairly high to high bitterness. Balancing on tipping over to "too bitter" for my taste, but still without tipping the scales. Might lure both hop lovers and hop moderate persons. Nice one.
330ml Bottle - Amber with a small head. Grapefruit and biscuity malt in the aroma. Hoppy, malty and slightly sweet taste with notes of toffee, grapefruit and pine. Nice, but not particularly authentic for the style. rarbring (2294) - Linköping, SWEDEN - SEP 16, 2012
Aroma: Smelling fresh citric and herbal, lime, grape-fruit and fresh cut grass.Aniela (4216) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 16, 2012
Appearance: The beer is clouded murky straw colored, a warm off-white head leaving loads of lacing, small curtains.
Taste: A small sweet white bread start, then bitter grape-fruit, juice, peel and seeds.
Palate: Medium high carbonation, fresh with a small body, a short rather intense dry finish.
Overall: A real nice summer (!) lager, very refreshing aroma hops, a very AIPAish lager.
Note: Bottle 330 ml. Reviewed 2012-09-16.
Bottle at home in Skövde. Clear pale amber beer with a lacy not lasting offwhite head. Hoppy and fruity aroma. Hoppy and grassy flavour with some bitterness.
