3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cloudy amber color, with small creamy head. Very nice aroma of malt and citrusy hops, with some bread and biscuits, and a background of soil, frequently found in Swedish beers, but quite pleasant in this case.
Caramel flavor, with lean mouthfeel; strong hopping, with plenty of resins and some bitter orange; it’s quite salty.
As expected from Mohawk, a very good hoppy beer; much hoppier than all Oktoberfest, but with the correct malt profile.

(Bottle). Smell of hops with aromas of flowers, tropical fruits, spices and pine. Sweet taste of overripe fruit, flowers, hops, caramel and butterscotch (diacetyl). Rather strange to be a Oktoberfest/Märzen. Pyrmir (6210) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - JUL 16, 2013

Thanks to my Secret Santa blomster for this one!
Pours a clear gold with a frothy, mostly white head.
Sweet malt aroma with a touch of floral hops.
The flavor is not as sweet as I was expecting from a Fest, more the kind of bitterness as I would expect in a Dortmunder or Pils.
Still a fine beer and quite sessionable. Furseth (2165) - Kungälv, SWEDEN - DEC 31, 2012
