0.33 L bottle. Thanks Cunningham, for the treat! Near black with dark brown highlights. Tan big-bubbled head. Initial aroma of fruity US hops, followed by a clean and subtle whiff of toasted and light chocolate-scented dark malts. Amazing! Clean, light roasty and chocolatey malt body. Bold fruity bitterness. Well-bodied. Juicy mouthfeel. Lingering fruity-bitter ending. Nice all over, the best BIPA i’ve had so far.

Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, moderate to light heavy hoppy, grapefruit. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, licorice, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120501]

Big thanks to Rune for a nice gesture. Your kind words and this great gift made my last day as a student even more memorable. This IPA has an almost black body with a thick, long lasting off white head. Aroma of coffee, licorice, dried fruits, peach and dark chocolate.Thick and smooth mouthfeel. Dry and bitter finish. Beautiful lacings in my shaker glass. The aftertaste is mostly dominated by coffee. I enjoyed this one!

Really dark brown colour with a tight, creamy head. Really sweet aroma of tropical fruit & hop. Some bitter burnt malts come through in the aroma too. Initial flavour is fresh, sweet and hoppy. Aftertaste gives a nice lingering bitterness as the hops and the roasted malts take effect.

33 cL bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a small off white head. Aroma is roastd almost liqourice malty with a fruity hoppy note. Fruity, dark roasted malty and light liqourice. Smooth citrusy fruity and bitter into a roasted dark malty finish.

Bottled:
The color is black with dark red tones. The foam is firm yet soft. It smells of pastry dough, hops and hair shampoo. The body is relatively thin. The taste is slightly toasted and turns into a noticeable hop bitterness. It’s a bit too bitter and unbalanced for my taste.
