Dark brown to black color, brown head. Sweet, coffee, hoppy scent. Hoppy, roasted, coffee taste. Coffee aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.

Very dark brown to black color, brown head. Sweet, chololate, cocoa, alcohol, hints of liqourice scent. Light metallic, grainy, chocolate, cocoa, alchol taste. Warming alcohol. Resin aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

Black with a small tan head. Slightly tart aroma and taste of wood, roasted malt, licorice, chocolate and notes of hops. Rather creamy mouthfeel. Tasty stuff.

Bottle from trade with Nisse666, many thanks, man. Very dark brown color with surprisingly huge beige head.Aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, dark malt, hops. (Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 28 Sep 2012) Black colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of black coffee, dark chocolate, cacao and a touch of liquorice. Malty, roasted taste with black coffee, dark chocolate, cacao, liquorice and a generous, fresh coffee bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with just a touch of sweetness. Bottle at home. Pours black with a creamy beige head. The aroma is oat, dark roasted malt, licorice, chocolate and a good bunch of hops. The flavor is bitter roasted with notes of chocolate and dark fruit. Good hoppy balance. Bit thin.

Bottle share at Chriso’s. Thanks! As ’Mohawk Whiteout Stout’, 9.7%. Very dark brown, red hue, small foamy tan head. Aroma is coffee, red berry, soft chilli. Appearance: Sinful dark and subtle red color, with a creamy beige head. Nice lacing.
Aroma: Rich roasted malt, coffee, hoppy and chocolate.
Palate: Full body. Moderate sweet and a fine bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Complex and heavy stuff. Roasted malt, coffee, light fruity, hoppy and some chocolate. Well hidden alcohol.
Overall impression: It is not often I notice hopps in Imperial stout. It was not to difficult in this one. Lovely tasty powerful ale. I am a big Mohawk fan!

50cl bottle shared at Chriso’s Xmas Tasting 2015, London. From Chriso’s private rotbox. It pours a clean dark brown with minimal white head. Aroma is plenty of roasty coffee notes.
