COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Famous for their Saison Ale, Brasserie Dupont is also renowned in Belgium for their Moinette. This sturdy ale has an herbal bouquet that indicates its well hopped character. But unlike its drier cousin, its body is fuller and rounder with a slightly sweet finish. Delicious before a meal and with foods like marinated meats and barbecue.

Had Vielle Provision and thought it was great, so I picked this up. Its delicious. It has a fair bit of hoppiness for a dubbel style, but I think it balances quite nicely. There is also a bit of fruitiness which is very nice. I would prefer if the color was a little darker. Also, the mouthfeel is a little thin for me.

Kzepes, tarts hab, barna szn, szűretlen. Kandiscukros, karamelles illat.

Clear light brown with a fat finger of head. Sweet malty aroma with characteristic fruity yeast. Surprising medicinal bitterness dominates followed by sweet malts and shortbread cookies. The black licorice remains and its not altogether pleasing. Pretty straightforward dubbel, but I personally prefer sweeter, less herbal examples. Not bad.

Backlog, Bottle, pours reddish brown with average head. Smell is flowers, candy malt, light hops, and pepper. Flavor is dried fruit, light coffee, and bread. I prefer the blonde but this is pretty nice. all things considered.

Deep red body with a two finger off white head. Smells banana, sweet malt, spice, dark fruits. The body is medium with perfect carbonation. It tastes sweet malt, dark fruits.Bitterness comes at the end of the sip as an aftertaste but it is welcome and discreet.A very complex beer both for food pairing and to be tasted alone.

Dguste dans un verre Maredsous. Temprature de dbut 10 11. Belle robe brun roux surmonte dune mousse beige clair assez persistante; faible carbonatation. 16,5/20

Dark. Malty. Sweet. Little bit of bitterness. Alcohol. Not bad but not the best.
